DESCRIPTION AND USAGE

Acrylic anti-algae wall coating with fine quartz sand for exteriors. Easy to apply, this extra white coating has optimal hiding power and excellent resistance to weathering. Complies with EN 15457 (resistance to the growth of fungi) and EN 15458 (resistance to the growth of algae). Dry film appearance: matt.

Walls with old paint in good condition:

wash with potable water at low pressure; leave the surface to dry well. Apply two coats of TORINO QUARTZ. If the surface requires minor consolidation, apply a coat of TORINO primer by brush (dilution 600% with water).

Deteriorated walls with chalking old paint

Completely remove areas of peeling paint; brush carefully with a metal brush and wash with potable water at low pressure; leave the surface to dry well. Repair the areas removed with hydraulic or premixed mortar; leave to cure for a minimum of 10-15 days. Apply a coat of TORINO primer by brush. After a minimum of 24 hours apply two coats of TQC quartz.

APPLICATION CYCLES

New walls

Apply a coat of TORINO primer by brush. After a minimum of 24 hours apply two coats of TORINO quartz​.

IMPORTANT INFO

  • Do not apply on fresh or very alkaline plaster; allow to dry, harden and cure for at least 3-4 weeks.

  • Protect from hard rain, if possible, in the first few days after application. 

  • Do not allow to freeze. 

  • Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. 

  • Apply at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.

  • Do not apply in direct sunlight.

  • Do not apply to damp substrates.

  • Wash tools thoroughly with water after use.

  • Coverage depends on substrate absorption.
