Description

GEO CHEMICAL GARM.

is defined as the process of high-performance grinding aids for raw material and increasing grinding efficiency, workability, initial setting improve, final setting improve, quality and strength enhancing additives. It has as its ultimate objective decreasing the energy consumption to obtain a given fineness or flow of cement. as well as reducing agglomeration and providing energy savings, some grinding aids also reducing setting times and increasing the at which strength is developed in the course of subsequent hydration. These are referred to as accelerating admixtures.

Chemical and materials added to cement slurry to modify the characteristics of the slurry or set cement. Cement additives may be broadly categorized as accelerators, retarder, fluid-loss additives, dispersants, and extenders, weighting agents, lost circulation, additives and special additives designed for specific operating conditions. Cement additives are commonly available in power or liquid form, enabling some flexibility in how the cement slurry is prepared.

  

Application

GARM -Series should be applied to the raw material on the conveyor belt just before the mill entrance by an adjustable dosing pump .in some cases before using ,dilution of the grinding aid with water is recommended to ensure more homogeneous distribution of it on the clinker that results in increase of performance of grinding aid.

 

Advantage

 SGC -GARM Series have polar structure and greatly improve the efficiency of grinding process by neutralizing the electrostatic charges which are the main cause of agglomeration inside cement mills. They can be applied to both open and closed circuit mills. GRAM product also improve the cement  flow ability and decrease pack-set time remarkably, decrease results in faster loading and unloading times of bulk tankers and also longer cleaning periods of silos.

Moreover, it is therefore possible to obtain a production increase by the same improvements of the strength of the finish cement.

 

Package

GARM- Series is available in 1000 liter plastic tank and tanker trucks.  

 

DOSAGE

GARM -Series the dosage varies from 200- 1000 gram per ton of fresh feed to the mill.

The optimum dosage in any case, has to be found through a reliable industrial trial ,preferably with the help of  SGC Cement Additive Division Technicians.

 

Cleaning 

GARM - can be cleaned with soaped water.

Storing Condition

It is store in dry condition; GARM series has minimum shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored properly in its original unopened packing.

If the additive is frosted under +5 c , it should be thawed by waiting at ambient temperature without  using direct heating and mixed until it becomes homogeneous.

Compressed air should not be used during this operation.
